You wonder sometimes if Sir Alex Ferguson can hear himself talking sometimes.
His side lose another tie against a top four side and, yet again, it is the fault of the referee, the ‘cheating’ of an opposition player, or pretty much anyone except himself and his underperforming team.

Granted, at Stamford Bridge on Sunday Man Utd set themselves out exceptionally well tactically speaking – stifling Chelsea through the middle and negating the threat of Ashley Cole on the left – but, in the end, they deserved to lose.

And any team that sets themselves out that defensively deserves to lose the title.
The foul (and it was a foul on Ashley Cole) was given away in a stupid area, and the free-kick was very poorly defended – two things Fergie will never admit. And his failure to address these concerns will ultimately cost him silverware this season.
Meanwhile, his failure means profits for us – 11/10 was a very nice return indeed for us.
It ended another profitable weekend that saw us soar towards the £14,000 profit mark for the season.
The stats are up for October – and very healthy they are, too. Although profit was dominated by that magic Premier League weekend on October 17-18, we still made a healthy return across the board.
Next week is international world cup play-off week, which gives me an opportunity to tidy up the site a little and get in a bit more research – I suggest you do, too!
