Footbet is all about good advice.
Most of my football tips are very much unlike other websites: I don’t aim to attack low prices “certainties”. I aim for value across the board and historically have made a 10% profit on only a 50 per cent prediction rate.
But after 7 years working for one of the largest bookmaking firms in the world, a decade of working as a football journalist, and more than 20 years of tipping experience, I am also painfully aware that most people who have a bet on the football have a minimal knowledge of how it works, what they should be doing, or what the pitfalls are.

Like everything, the more you put into something, the more you get out. That is why I believe that football punters should always get to know as much about betting – and the game they are betting on – before parting with their hard-earned cash.
