Championship
Fixture: Birmingham 3-2 Watford
Venue: St Andrews (Birmingham home)
Kick-off: 3pm GMT
Verdict: I think we are about to see Birmingham take off in this league and I am considering revising my prediction (from the beginning of the season) that Wolves will win this league. They have the best top seven in the league, in all combinations, and we will be following them for the next few weeks home and away for a tidy profit.
Betting Advice: 5pts Birmingham win at 4/6 (1.67 at Skybet)
League One
Fixture: Colchester 1-2 Hereford
Venue: Layer Road (Colchester home)
Kick-off: 3pm GMT
Verdict: A sparkling win last week may have set Colchester on the path to redemption. They certainly shouldn't be this low in the table, despite relegation last season and losing the core of their Championship side. Hereford should.
Betting Advice: 4pts Colchester win at 8/11 (1.73 generally)
Fixture: Leicester 3-0 Southend
Venue: Walkers Stadium (Leicester home)
Kick-off: 3pm GMT
Verdict: It has taken a while but Leicester have finally managed to dispel the ghost of relegation last season. They are fighting and boy they need to, they have some tough critics in their home fans (the boo if their 1-0 up at half-time) and should keep their berth at the top against Southend.
Betting Advice: 4pts Leicester win at 4/6 (1.67 generally)
League Two
Fixture: Shrewsbury 1-0 Rotherham
Venue: Prostar Stadium (Shrews home)
Kick-off: 3pm GMT
Verdict: I haven't forgotten about the Shrews who have come through a difficult passage of games with aplomb and can push on from fourth now starting with a win against Rotherham.
Betting Advice: 3pts Shrewsbury win at 10/11 (1.91 at Bet 365)
