Championship
Fixture: Wolves 0-0 Ipswich
Venue: Molineux (Wolves home)
Kick-off: 7.45pm GMT
Verdict: The Wolves hiccup is well and truly over, so now is the time for us to get back on board and take some profits at a time when nerves are fraying our profits.
Betting Advice: 8pts Wolves at 4/5 (1.8 generally)
Fixture: Norwich 2-0 Cardiff
Venue: Carrow Road (Norwich home)
Kick-off: 7.45pm GMT
Verdict: There is little evidence to suggest that Norwich are anywhere near good enough to take any points of a Cardiff side dreaming of an automatic promotion spot. That said, desperate times make for desperate results. Norwich have been picking up surprise points recently, but this might be a game that is beyond them.
Betting Advice: 4pts Cardiff win at 6/4 (2.5 generally)
League One
Fixture: MK Dons 1-1 Huddersfield
Venue: mk:stadium (Mk Dons home)
Kick-off: 7.45pm GMT
Verdict: After a mishap at the County Ground at the weekend Mk Dons will be determined to get back to winning ways as quickly as possible. This home tie against Huddersfield is perfectly timed: a quick game against a drifting mid-table side is just what the doctor ordered.
Betting Advice: 3pts MK Dons to win at 4/5 (1.8 at BlueSq and 888sport)
League Two
Fixture: Macclesfield 0-2 Accrington
Venue: The Moss Rose Ground (Macclesfield)
Kick-off: 7.45pm GMT
Verdict: Macclesfield are an ugly side, I mean really ugly. More sow's ear than Silkmen. They play so ugly it could go either way, depending on who they are playing. Essentially they play Blue Square football with a League Two professionalism. And it gets them out of jail depending on who they're playing. But it makes them worth backing against, particularly at home where an average crowd under 2,000 does them few favours. They have one of the worse home records in the league. Accrington desperately need the points for survival still - and may view this as a winnable away fixture.
Betting Advice: 1pt Accrington to win at 3/1 (4.0 at Bet365, Victor Chandler and Coral)
