Championship
Fixture: Doncaster 0-1 Wolves
Venue: Keepmoat Stadium (Doncaster home)
Kick-off: 3pm GMT
Verdict: If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Wolves form suggests that there is still no reason why we shouldn't continue backing them throughout. The bookies are yet to catch up with them in what is still an open league underneath leaders Wolves. Donny are going down unless they can start scoring regularly. It won't happen here.
Betting Advice: 4pts Wolves win at 10/11 (1.91 at Betfred)
League One
Fixture: Huddersfield 2-0 Hereford
Venue: Galparm Stadium (Huddersfield home)
Kick-off: 3pm GMT
Verdict: Huddersfield are a team on the up with six wins out of their last seven and a new ambitious manager in Lee Clark. There has been talk of raiding the January transfer window rare talk these days. I'm picking them for at least a play-off place in the new year and maybe more.
Betting Advice: 5pts Huddersfield to win at 4/6 (1.67 generally)
League Two
Fixture: Luton 1-1 Morecambe
Venue: Kenilworth Road (Carlisle home)
Kick-off: 3pm GMT
Verdict: Morecambe fans will be dressing up on Saturday in homage to their namesake and big Luton fan, Eric Morecambe. It's about the only laugh they'll get on the day Luton have had 30 points taken away and they have not been in the business of giving anything away since. It's quite possible they may avoid relegation even which makes things interesting.
Betting Advice: 2pts Luton to win at Evens (2.0 generally)
Fixture: Accrington Stanley 1-3 Rotherham
Venue: Fraser Eagle stadium (Accrington home)
Kick-off: 3pm GMT
Verdict: Before Luton get out of the red fellow points deductee Rotherham may be the first to overhaul a "normal" club and they could do it this weekend. A win at Accrington may see them jump Grimsby. And after that Barnet, Chester and Accrington are next. Quite an achievement.
Betting Advice: 1pt Rotherham win at 17/10 (2.7 generally)
