Championship
Fixture: Derby 0-0 Barnsley
Venue: Pride Park (Derby home)
Kick-off: 3pm GMT (Sat)
Verdict: With the top three all crawling over the finish line, the battle of the bottom is looking more attractive. Derby have done well to drag themselves out of a hole, but they need this one win against fellow strugglers Barnsley to make sure. Lose and they're back in the mire.
Betting Advice: 4pts Derby at 17/20 (1.85 at Bet365 and Sportingbet)
Fixture: Birmingham 1-1 Norwich
Venue: St Andrews (Birmingham home)
Kick-off: 3pm GMT (Sat)
Verdict: That said there were signs that Birmingham of the top three might be turning a corner. It was good solid win against in-form Doncaster on Saturday night, and Norwich's recent good run has plainly been on the back of hard work and little skill. Brum are tough enough to make this a professional job at a crazy price.
Betting Advice: 8pts Birmingham win at 4/5 (1.8 at Bet365)
Fixture: Cardiff 0-3 Sheffield United
Venue: Ninian Park (Sheff Utd home)
Kick-off: 3pm GMT (Sun)
Verdict: Form is everything at this stage of the season, and Sheff Utd are the form team. This is an absolutely thriller of a game on paper, and I think it will live up to it in real life with United just pipping a presently hit-and-miss Cardiff side.
Betting Advice: 1pt Sheff Utd win at 9/4 (3.25 at Skybet)
League One
Fixture: Bristol Rovers 0-1 Peterborough
Venue: Memorial Stadium (Tranmere home)
Kick-off: 3pm GMT (Sat)
Verdict: With ten points between Rovers and the play-offs and a healthy 16 points separating the West Country outfit from the dreaded drop, I think its safe to say their season is well and truly over. It might explain their last two results. They stuffed similarly safe Walsall (5-0) and woeful Hereford (3-0). But their 1-1 draw to Crewe suggest that when you put them up against a team with something to play for like second-placed Peterborough and it's no bother whether they win or lose.
Betting Advice: 4pts Peterborough to win at 13/8 (2.63 at Paddy Power)
League Two
Fixture: Luton 1-0 Macclesfield
Venue: Kenilworth Road (Rochdale)
Kick-off: 3pm GMT (Sat)
Verdict: An 89th minute winner against Grimsby has kept the remarkable possibility of no points-penalised side being relegated to the Conference within the realms of possibility. Despite a 30-point deficit Luton are now just 12 points from safety. It's still a long shot but Macclesfield are likely to capitulate here and then, who knows?
Betting Advice: 2pts Luton to win at 9/10 (1.9 at Victor Chandler)
