Championship
Fixture: Norwich 2-1 Doncaster
Venue: Carrow Road (Norwich home)
Kick-off: 3pm BST
Verdict: The Championship looks a bit tougher to predict this week, but Norwich have hit a rich vein of form that they can exploit at a decent price against one of the league's struggling sides. Any team that can put five past Wolves should surely have enough to slide past a Doncaster side who have the second worse defence away from home and have had a severe injury crisis in the centre of defence in preparation for this game.
Betting Advice: 4pts Norwich win at 5/6 (1.83 at Betfred)
League One
Fixture: MK Dons 3-1 Cheltenham
Venue: stadium:mk (MK Dons home)
Kick-off: 3pm BST
Verdict: In League One the top boys have been failing to put a run together to get out of what is turning into a pretty crowding train for the Championship at the moment. The Dons had a surprising loss last week but can get straight back to winning ways against Cheltenham who are one of the very few whipping boys in what is an ultra competitive league this season.
Betting Advice: 2pts MK Dons win at 4/6 (1.67 generally)
Fixture: Hartlepool 1-0 Brighton
Venue: Victoria Park (Hartlepool home)
Kick-off: 3pm BST
Verdict: In another league with few betting opportunities Hartlepool stick out like a sore thumb. They have been scoring all season and playing some great football, but the results have always gone their way. But Danny Wilson has been suggesting that they are at a turning point, and so it has proved in the last week with big wins over Walsall (3-2) and Huddersfield (5-3). Brighton have been struggling all season, have failed to score in their last two and look kind of rootless now that their stadium opening has been put back another year.
Betting Advice: 4pts Hartlepool to win at 11/10 (2.1 Betfred, Paddy Power, Coral and extrabet)
League Two
Fixture: Gillingham 2-0 Chester
Venue: Priestfield Stadium (Gillingham home)
Kick-off: 3pm BST
Verdict: Gillingham rather ruined a battling draw away at highflyers Bradford last weekend by going out during the week and letting slip a 2-0 lead at home to Notts County. However, the signs are that they are back I form, unlike Chester who are wishing for a return for those heady days in August/September when they went undefeated in six whole games (W2 D3). They haven't actually won since 13th September and shipped six in midweek.
Betting Advice: 3pts Gillingham to win at 8/11 (1.73 generally)
