Verdict: QPR boss Paulo Sousa must be doing something right at least away from Loftus Road. The former Champions League winner is unbeaten away from home and can continue that run against a Barnsley side with some very shaky home form. In fact, they have been pretty deflated since Southampton took all three points at Oakwell, which put paid to any distant hopes of a play-off place. QPR, on the other hand, have excellent prospects in the play-off department. It is worth ignoring the 3-1 defeat at home to Ipswich was a blip they came back strongly against Cardiff the following Tuesday and should have won.

Verdict: There are two teams really making the division stand up and admire the first is Swansea which has been well documented her. The second is Bristol City, who are playing some of the most exceptional football. This should be their sixth win in seven, it is very difficult to see a Blackpool side who have lost to Derby and Watford in their last two games get anything in Bristol.

Fixture: Tranmere 1-0 Swindon
Venue: Prenton Park (Tranmere home)

Verdict: Tranmere have done the hard work over the last two weeks now they can reap the benefits with a home win that will take them ever closer to the play-offs. Both MK Dons and Peterborough have been thwarted at Prenton Park in recent times. And Peterborough were lucky to escape with anything at all after Rovers had a goal ruled out for offside in injury time. Swindon are on the up somewhat after a win against Scunthorpe two weeks ago. But they are yet to make their mark away from home just one win since August.

Verdict: The league leaders take on third place in what will be a cracking match in League Two. The bookies have gone odds against on the home side especially for the occasion and we should take it because Brentford have been the stand-out side in the league over the last three months.
