Verdict: Espanyol should not be odds against to win at home against the bottom club. Before their 3-0 defeat at Mallorca they drew against Real Madrid and Villareal, while going down to a late, late penalty in the derby against Barcelona. More to the point they have been playing very well this season, and will view this as a great opportunity to get back into winning ways, and the top half of the table.

Verdict: The same goes for Sampdoria who are an excellent price to beat lowly Sampdoria. The blucerchiati have had a poor start to the season, but bagged their first win of the season against Bologna last week, and look to be crawling back to form. Expect them to start climbing the table starting here.

Verdict: Although on paper this looks like a tough fixture for Juventus, they should have the wherewithal to overcome a Roma side that is blowing hot and cold this season. Juve have taken back-to-back victories and would have also got a lot of confidence from their victory over Real Madrid in the Champions League. Roma, on the other hand, failed to win in October, and have a coach under pressure.
