Saturday
Fixture: Everton 1-0 Fulham
Venue: Goodison Park (Everton home)
Kick-off: 12.45pm BST
Verdict: Fulham's win in midweek against Wigan, while it may look impressive on paper, is not so. Steve Bruce, Wigan manager, said it is the worst defensive performances he has seen at the club. That said, Andy Johnson is back scoring ahead of a return to his old club, which is ominous. But Everton have a new striking hero of their own in Marouane Fellaini. The Belgian star has now scored three in four - and the draw at Man Utd is a sign that Everton are finding their feet again.
Betting Advice: 3pts Everton to win at 8/11 (1.73 generally)
Fixture: Chelsea 5-0 Sunderland
Venue: Stamford Bridge (Chelsea home)
Kick-off: 3pm BST
Verdict: Sunderland's problem is scoring - less than one a game. That stat suggests that they will score fewer than that against the big teams like Chelsea. That means the Blues only have to score once in each half to win both halves. A decent bet at a decent price.
Betting Advice: 2pts Chelsea to win both halves at 13/10 (2.3 at Paddy Power)
Fixture: Man Utd 4-3 Hull
Venue: Old Trafford (Man Utd home)
Kick-off: 3pm BST
Verdict: Although it would be nice to back Man Utd - at 1/5 they are ridiculously priced.
Betting Advice: no bet
Fixture: Middlesbrough 1-1 West Ham
Venue: Riverside Stadium (Boro home)
Kick-off: 3pm BST
Verdict: West Ham are pretty pants this season, but are getting away with it. Four losses in four though has found West Ham's form out - and a fifth here will have them looking nervously over their shoulder.Home win.
Betting Advice: 2pts Boro to win at 11/10 (2.1 at totesport)
Fixture: Portsmouth 1-2 Wigan
Venue: Fratton Park (Portsmouth home)
Kick-off: 3pm GMT
Verdict: Not absolutely keen to bet on this match. Portsmouth are at sixes and sevens and Wigan are just coming off the back of poor performance against Fulham and Aston Villa. But the price on Wigan is too tempting to resist, so I shall be dipping my toe into the water. Just a little bit.
Betting Advice: 1pt Wigan to win at 7/2 (4.5 at Skybet)
Fixture: Stoke 2-1 Arsenal
Venue: Britannia Stadium (Stoke home)
Kick-off: 3pm GMT
Verdict: Stoke without Rory Delap is like a mid-table Championship side. Or Stoke next season. He got them a win in midweek with his bullet throw and poses a danger to Arsenal who shipped four in midweek. But that threat has pushed the price up on a bet that should be odds on - Arsenal to win to nil, which they have done four times out of ten this season. Odds against on a 40 per cent chance - now that's value.
Betting Advice: 1pt Arsenal to win to nil at 11/8 (2.38 at Blue Square and 888sport)
Fixture: WBA 2-2 Blackburn
Venue: Hawthorns (WBA home)
Kick-off: 3pm GMT
Verdict: I'm sticking to the conviction that West Brom will get out of jail this season - they are actually too good to go down. But they need to win games like this, so I have to back myself - despite three losses on the spin.
Betting Advice: 1pt WBA to win at 31/20 (2.55 at VC Bet)
Fixture: Spurs 2-1 Liverpool
Venue: White Hart Lane (Spurs home)
Kick-off: 5.30pm BST
Verdict: Spurs may have performed heroics in the Emirates Stadium against bitter rivals Arsenal, but that doesn't suddenly make them a good team. Harry Redknapp has got a new manager "bounce" these last few games, but they have looked poor for most of that 180 minutes - gritty, but poor. They are likely to be found out against league leaders Liverpool.
Betting Advice: 2pts Liverpool to win at 23/20 (2.15 at VC Bet)
Sunday
Fixture: Bolton 2-0 Man City
Venue: Reebok Stadium (Bolton home)
Kick-off: 4pm BST
Verdict: Man City are going great guns, but this looks a tricky Lancashire derby that might prove a stumbling block. Best avoided.
Betting Advice: no bet
Monday
Fixture: Newcastle 2-0 Aston Villa
Venue: St James' Park (Newcastle home)
Kick-off: 8pm BST
Verdict: You are kidding me: Villa are in the form of their season, and look a top four team. Newcastle have scraped together a couple of half decent results (one win in four) and suddenly they are favourites to beat a top four side. Newcastle have won two games out of ten - Villa six out of ten and scored seven in their last two games. I'm backing Villa.
Betting Advice: 5pts Villa to win at 6/4 (2.5 at Betfred, Bet Direct and Stan James)
