Saturday
Fixture: Chelsea 3-1 Fulham
Venue: Stamford Bridge (Chelsea home)
Kick-off: 3pm BST
Verdict: This week's Premiership is no place to earn money and you will see that from the lack of tips. However, this fixture tickled me for a little bit of a tipple. Chelsea have the biggest game of their season in midweek. They have no chance of winning the league, so this fixture is dead to them, really. Fulham, on the other hand, still have a squeak of nicking Everton's Uefa Europa League place next season? Fulham are in good form, they hate Chelsea far more than Chelsea care about them, and the opportunity to post a rare victory at the Bridge will not be lost on them.
Worth a little go, I think
Betting Advice: 1pt Fulham to win at 7/1 (8.0 generally)
Fixture: Wigan 0-0 Bolton
Venue: JJB Stadium (Wigan home)
Kick-off: 3pm BST
Verdict: Traditionally the dullest fixture in the Premiership calendar, Wigan v Bolton should be if the world was in the right order, a League One fixture at best. Bolton have been in the better form, both teams' season is over, so I suspect honours even.
Betting Advice: 1pt draw at 23/10 (3.3 generally)
Fixture: Portsmouth 0-3 Arsenal
Venue: Fratton Park (Portsmouth home)
Kick-off: 3pm BST
Verdict: Unlike Chelsea at the Bridge, Arsenal will not be resting their best players on Saturday in preparation for the Champions League. Mainly because their best player is ineligible for the Champions League so will be chomping at the bit here. Andrei Arshavin has been giving Gunners fans a taste of what might have been in Europe with some scintillating displays in the league including scoring FOUR at Anfield. They are likely to keep their current good league form up against a Portsmouth side all but safe.
Betting Advice: 6pts Arsenal to win at 13/10 (2.3 at Bet365)
Monday
Fixture: Aston Villa 1-0 Hull
Venue: Villa Park (Aston Villa home)
Kick-off: 8pm BST
Verdict: Hull continued their long slide into the Championship last week with a defeat at home to Anfield. Villa are crawling over the line, but should win this to put maybe enough daylight between them and Everton.
Betting Advice: 4pts Aston Villa to win at 8/13 (1.62 at Skybet)
THE NO BETS
Saturday
Middlesbrough desperately need the win, but entertaining Man Utd is not ideal. Too much doubt over United's team sheet to back them at such a low price
Man City continue to be too erratic to back. Blackburn are a danger in their current position
I suspect West Ham might nick this one in their current form, but you can't discount Stoke at home
Spurs have a tendency to coast in the sunshine at the end of season. WBA nicked a win at home last week, Can they save themselves?
Sunday
Liverpool should win this one at 3/10, but the memory of historical battles against Newcastle looms large
Sunderland need the win, Everton are terrific away from home and need the win, too. Too close to call
