Tuesday
Fixture: Portsmouth 0-1 Chelsea
Venue: Stamford Bridge (Chelsea home)
Kick-off: 3pm GMT
Verdict:
The bookies are pretty much wise to the fact that Chelsea never win by much, but there are still a few markets lurking with possibilities. Portsmouth, are steadily improving now that Tony Adams has gone but, like all troubled teams they suffer from the curse of the late goal. Chelsea are no stranger to scoring late goals themselves, which suggests that any goal action is likely to occur in the second half. There's some value around on that assumption.
Betting Advice: 5pts Second half to be highest scoring at 11/10 (2.1 at Stan James and William Hill); 2pts Portsmouth (+0.25) in 1st half Asian Handicap at 1080/1000 (1.08 at Ladbrokes)

Wednesday
Fixture: Newcastle 1-2 Manchester United
Venue: St James' Park (Newcastle home)
Kick-off: 7.45pm GMT
Verdict:
They're going to lock me up, but I have a sneaking suspicion that Newcastle might sneak this. Manchester United have just won their first cup, have a huge lead in the league and might just take their eye off the ball. Newcastle, well they've done nothing to deserve my support, but sometimes you have to go with your guts. Don't put your house on it, though.
Betting Advice: 1pt Newcastle to win at 15/2 (8.5 at Skybet)

Fixture: Wigan 0-1 West Ham
Venue: JJB Stadium (Wigan home)
Kick-off: 7.45pm GMT
Verdict:
I maintain my faith in Wigan who showed why with a sterling performance at Stamford Bridge that got us a lot of profit. They are now odds against at home where they haven't lost since October against a West Ham side that has been playing in fits and starts.
Betting Advice: 3pts Wigan to win at 13/10 (2.3 at BlueSq and 888sport)

Fixture: Fulham 0-1 Hull
Venue: Craven Cottage (Fulham home)
Kick-off: 8pm GMT
Verdict:
And same again for Hull who are winless and pretty friendless in what is beginning to look like an increasingly desperate effort to stay in the Premier League. Fulham are solid at home and get my vote.
Betting Advice: 3pts Fulham to win at 3/4 (1.75 at Sportingbet)
