Saturday
Fixture: Fulham 1-1 Man City
Venue: Craven Cottage (Fulham home)
Kick-off: 12.45pm GMT
Verdict: Man City are now in the position of playing for their careers. The oily cheque book is being primed for what is likely to be the Premiership's only spending spree. That said, they're not playing particularly well. A loss to Man Utd and a draw in the Uefa Cup in midweek is nothing to bang on about it. Fulham have started their survivial campaign in earnest with two wins and two draws in the last four.
Betting Advice: no bet
Fixture: Arsenal 1-0 Wigan
Venue: Emirates Stadium (Arsenal home)
Kick-off: 3pm GMT
Verdict: It's crisis time at Arsenal even the reserve team are losing, dumped out of the Carling Cup by Burnley. But the bookies are still not budging (4/11, for Christ's sake). Avoid.
Betting Advice: no bet
Fixture: Blackburn 1-3 Liverpool
Venue: Ewood Park (Blackburn home)
Kick-off: 3pm GMT
Verdict: Liverpool have some serious problems now that Fernando Torres is out for a while. There really is no cover because Keane is not a target striker. Blackburn, though, are desperately struggling at the moment no win since September and a manager under pressure. Don't expect this to be a high scorer.
Betting Advice: 4pts under 2.5 goals at 7/9 (1.78 at Canbet.com)
Fixture: Bolton 0-2 Chelsea
Venue: Reebok Stadium (Bolton home)
Kick-off: 3pm GMT
Verdict: We lost a bit on Chelsea last week, when they could not manage more than a 0-0 draw at home to Newcastle, but we should reap benefits away from Stamford Bridge where they have been perfect.
Betting Advice: 5pts Chelsea to win at 8/13 (1.62 at Ladbrokes)
Fixture: Hull 2-1 Middlesbrough
Venue: KC Stadium (Hull home)
Kick-off: 3pm GMT
Verdict: I am still avoiding Hull, who are not going to continue at the top of the table for much longer. And Boro are increasingly frustrating, although they might win this one with the pressure of a home crowd off.
Betting Advice: 1pt Boro to win at 9/4 (3.25 BlueSq, Skybet and 888sport)
Fixture: Newcastle 2-2 Stoke
Venue: St James Park (Newcastle home)
Kick-off: 3pm GMT
Verdict: This really is a poor Premiership both these sides deserve relegation the way they have been playing this season. For Stoke, take away a long throw and they'd be down already. Newcastle, where to start?
Betting Advice: no bet
Fixture: Man Utd 1-0 Sunderland
Venue: Old Trafford (Man Utd home)
Kick-off: 5.30pm GMT
Verdict: Man Utd (2/11) are priced out of being backed here and Sunderland are in disarray and are not going to get anything out of Old Trafford.
Betting Advice: no bet
Sunday
Fixture: WBA 1-1 Portsmouth
Venue: Hawthorns (WBA home)
Kick-off: 3pm GMT
Verdict: It really has been a disappointing season for both these sides. Portsmouth should not have fallen out of the Uefa Cup at such an early stage this week, while West Brom should not be bottom they're better than that. This is likely to be a very open affair as both go out for three points to ease the pain.
Betting Advice: More than 2.5 goals at Evens (2.0 generally)
Fixture: Everton 2-3 Aston Villa
Venue: Goodison Park (Everton home)
Kick-off: 4pm GMT
Verdict: Aston Villa are still the fourth best team in the country, but Everton used to be better than they have been at home this season. Expect this to be a tight affair, but Villa have the edge.
Betting Advice: 1pt Villa win at 9/5 (2.8 at BlueSq)
Monday
Fixture: West Ham 0-2 Spurs
Venue: Boleyn Road (WHam home)
Kick-off: 8pm GMT
Verdict: This is an old-fashioned 70s kind of derby. There'll be a lot of noise, made more magical by the cold and the fact that it's under lights. Home advantage could be enough for West Ham to edge it.
Betting Advice: 2pts West Ham to win at 7/4 (2.75 at Bet365 and Coral)
