Saturday
Fixture: Blackburn 0-2 Aston Villa
Venue: Ewood Park (Blackburn home)
Kick-off: 3pm GMT
Verdict:
I offer up Aston Villa once more with a touch of reticence. Not because I don't have faith in Villa, who have made us an awful lot of money this season, but because I feel Blackburn are beginning to see the effects of regime change. Sam Allardyce's side is undefeated in nine games and look much more tidy than Paul Ince's rabble. Villa, however, have won six on the trot on their travels and have won four out of their last five against Blackburn, which makes the price on offer value.
Betting Advice: 2pts Aston Villa to win at 13/8 (2.63 at BlueSq and 888sport)

Fixture: Everton 3-0 Bolton
Venue: Goodison Park (Everton home)
Kick-off: 3pm GMT
Verdict:
While an extra 120 minutes against your bitter rivals in midweek might not be the best recipe for a successful weekend, the result for Everton against Liverpool might be the perfect fillip. My only concern is whether they will be up for it early enough against a Bolton side who score a lot of early goals and then go about conceding them. Let's just hope that, if they do win, we get to see their goals this time. Oh wait, it won't be showing on ITV. That's OK, then.
Betting Advice: 3pts Everton to win at 8/11 (1.73 generally)

Fixture: Sunderland 2-0 Stoke
Venue: Stadium of Light (Sunderland home)
Kick-off: 3pm GMT
Verdict:
It is easy to think that Sunderland may find themselves in the Premier League more by default than design as so many poor teams jockey for position below them. But there are two things Sunderland are doing well: winning and drawing their fair share against teams above them, and beating the newly promoted clubs. Recently they've beaten West Brom 4-0 and Hull 3-1. Stoke are likely to get the same treatment against a Sunderland side with a decent attacking bent.
Betting Advice: 4pts Sunderland to win at 5/6 (1.83 generally)

Fixture: WBA 2-3 Newcastle
Venue: Hawthorns (West Brom home)
Kick-off: 3pm GMT
Verdict:
I am still not convinced by the shambles that is Newcastle United, but I am convinced about the generosity being showed to a West Brom side by the bookies. Take the top four out of the equation and WBA are unbeaten in the league since the middle of December - and yet the bookies still factor in old form.
Betting Advice: 2pts WBA to win at 13/10 (2.3 at Ladbrokes)

Sunday
Fixture: Tottenham 0-0 Arsenal
Venue: White Hart Lane (Tottenham home)
Kick-off: 1.30pm GMT
Verdict:
While this is a North London derby, I feel that this factor has been priced in too deep considering the record between these two sides of late. Spurs have not beaten Arsenal in 18 meetings in the Premier League - and the away side are most certainly not the 6/4 shot they are being priced. Fair enough, their results have been a little patchy, but not for lack of form. I also think the arrival of two strikers in North London indicates the direction these two clubs are going in. For Arsenal? Andrei Arshavin: exciting darling of Europe; For Tottenham? Roy Keane: former player who couldn't wait to get out of White Hart Lane to warm the bench at Anfield.
Betting Advice: 2pts Arsenal to win at 6/4 (2.5 at BlueSq and 888sport)

NO BETS
Saturday

Absolutely absurd price on Man City to beat Middlesbrough this weekend, considering the amount of slip ups they've had 8/13 is too rich for anyone's palate.
No value at 2/9 on Chelsea to beat Hull at home. There is no other result likely.
Wigan should win this one, but Fulham have been impressive of late. Away form concerns. Just a no bet on Wigan.
Portsmouth can occasionally spring a surprise, but it is Liverpool's gruelling midweek and soul destroying defeat to Everton that concerns me.
Sunday
I looked everywhere but I can't see any value in this game, and it is so difficult to see Manchester United at all at the moment - even though West Ham's Upton Park is the scene of one or two memorable slips of late.
