Saturday
Fixture: Portsmouth 2-2 WBA
Venue: Fratton Park (Portsmouth home)
Kick-off: 3pm BST
Verdict: Fratton Park will be buzzing this afternoon as everyone involved with the club will know that a win against West Brom is vital to their survival. And they are in the form to manage it. West Brom are down in all but name - and Portsmouth have been picking up points at difficult places (Hull away, Everton home) to have the confidence to make sure here.
Betting Advice: 6pts Portsmouth win at 3/4 (1.75 at Sportingbet)
Fixture: Stoke 1-1 Newcastle
Venue: Britannia Stadium (Stoke home)
Kick-off: 5.30pm BST
Verdict: I do think Alan Shearer has the ability to turn Newcastle around, it was a tough ask to get anything out of Chelsea - and their victory at Anfield in the Champions League in midweek puts that into context. Stoke will be tough, but Newcastle could grab the epic away victory that will be put them in with a fighting chance of avoiding the drop.
Betting Advice: 1pt Newcastle to win at 21/10 (3.1 at Stan James)
Sunday
Fixture: Aston Villa 3-3 Everton
Venue: Villa Park (Everton home)
Kick-off: 2pm BST
Verdict: With Arsenal overtaking them into fourth place, Villa must be careful that their usual end-of-season malaise does not affect their fifth place finish. There was enough on offer at Old Trafford to suggest that Villa haven't given up on the season just yet - and they should sneak this.
Betting Advice: 1pt Villa win at 5/4 (2.25 generally)
Fixture: Manchester City 1-3 Fulham
Venue: Eastlands (Man City home)
Kick-off: 4.10pm BST
Verdict: Things have been going a little better for Man City at home of late. They've recorded six home wins on the bounce and, were it not for some very poor away form, they might have had a sneak at a European spot next season. As it is, they must keep plugging away before the big buy-in next season. Fulham's strength is at Craven Cottage, so I don't expect them to put up too much resistance.
Betting Advice: 5pts Man City to win at 10/11 (1.91 at Bet365 and Coral)
THE NO BETS
Saturday
Liverpool at 1/3 offer no value at home to Blackburn
Chelsea too are unbackable at home to Bolton at a similar price
I suspect that Boro could get the home win that will set up a thrilling end of season at the bottom, but their form has been so miserable that you cannot rule Hull out
Sunderland are 15/2 to get the win they desperately need against Man Utd. I have to admit the draw at 16/5 was tempting - but not tempting enough
Tottenham should win at home but West Ham have been in stunning form
