Championship
Newcastle 5-1 Cardiff
KO: 7.45pm (GMT)
Venue: St James' Park
Verdict: While Newcastle continue to top the table (just!) from highflying Nottingham Forest, their position at the summit is tenable.
There is no doubt they have battled hard to reach there, but there are a number of teams of similar ilk waiting for them to slip up.
One of those is Cardiff, who have proved in recent weeks how deadly they are when they get it right. I expect them, to get it right again here.
Advice: 1pt Cardiff to win at 7/2 (4.5 at Stan James and Skybet)

League One
Brentford 4-0 Gillingham
KO: 3pm (GMT)
Venue: Griffin Park
Verdict: Gillingham's appalling away record, and general poor performance of late should be enough to gift an improving Brentford all three points here.
Advice: 3pts Brentford to win at 10/11 (1.91 generally)
Swindon 1-1 Charlton
KO: 3pm (GMT)
Venue: County Ground
Verdict: Anyone who saw Charlton's capitulation against Leyton Orient a fortnight ago will think twice about backing them.
Those, like myself, who have been championing Swindon for the best part of the season and saw them stuff Leeds the other week, will put their money on the right team here.
Advice: 3pts Swindon to win at 8/5 (2.6 at Paddy Power)
League Two
Macclesfield 0-1 Shrewsbury
KO: 3pm (GMT)
Venue: Moss Rose
Verdict: Shrewsbury let us down last week, but there is no reason to suggest that they cannot make amends against lesser opposition this week.
Their excellent away record counts as a plus, too!
Advice: 2pts Shrewsbury to win at 13/8 (2.63 at Skybet)
