League One
Fixture: Millwall 3-1 Huddersfield
Venue: New Den (Millwall home)
Kick-off: 3pm BST Verdict: Faltering Millwall face a tough time with the visit of Huddersfield. The Terriers picked up their first win on the road at the impressive MK Dons at the beginning of the month and are well set to do the same to a Millwall side that has lost 2-0 twice in a row and are stacking up the injury worries.
Huddersfield are injury free and on a roll.
Betting Advice: 3pts Huddersfield to win at 6/4 (2.5 at Ladbrokes)
Fixture: Walsall 1-1 Swindon
Venue: Bescott Stadium (Walsall home)
Kick-off: 3pm BST Verdict: Talking of in-form teams, Swindon are looking as good on the pitch as they do on paper for the first time in a while. Walsall were again unconvincing when they beat a pathetic-looking Tranmere last week.
Meanwhile, Swindon are winning smart on the road and should have enough to get past this Walsall side. Goals will be at a premium, too.
Betting Advice: 1pt Swindon to win at 2/1 (3.0 generally); 3pts less than 2.5 goals at 9/10 (1.9 at Betfair)
Fixture: Wycombe 0-1 MK Dons
Venue: Adams Park (Wycombe home)
Kick-off: 3pm BST Verdict: MK Dons were very impressive on Monday night when they beat up a rather beleaguered Norwich side. They look sharp going forward which should get them goals against a Wycombe side whose excellent defensive record during a promotion campaign last season has utterly deserted them.
Betting Advice: 1pt MK Dons to win at 5/4 (2.25 at Betfred)
League Two
Fixture: Darlington 0-2 Bournemouth
Venue: Northern Echo Stadium (Wycombe home)
Kick-off: 3pm BST Verdict: It is difficult to see where a bedraggled Darlington are going to get there next point from. Their last and only point coming against Cheltenham in August. And it won't be here against a Bournemouth side that have kicked on after surviving despite a points penalty last season.
Betting Advice: 3pts Bournemouth to win at 10/11 (1.91 generally)
Fixture: Hereford 2-0 Accrington
Venue: Edgar Street (Hereford home)
Kick-off: 3pm BST Verdict: There have been signs in the last few weeks that Hereford's rather mysterious wait for their first league win of the season was about to come to an end. Being 2-0 up with five minutes to play and drawing was careless - as was succumbing to Grimsby in the last two minutes when you have been dominant for long periods.
We are at the stage of the season now where those fitness worries (and that's what they appeared to be) should be disappearing, so don't expect a late show again.
Accrington, meanwhile, are close to going out of business, so football could be the last thing on their minds at the mo.
Going big on Hereford because I believe in them and that's cracking value considering the loan signings they've bought in this week.
Betting Advice: 5pts Hereford to win at 6/4 (1.91 generally)
