Championship
Fixture: Middlesbrough 2-0 Derby
Venue: Riverside Stadium (Boro home)
Kick-off: 7.45pm BST
Verdict: A third defeat at home on the spin for Boro had the boos ringing out across Teeside at the weekend, and it is very unlikely there is going to be much cheer tonight. Boro probably should have got rid of Gareth Southgate at the end of last season because a campaign like the one that they endured last season in the Premeir League needs to be wiped from the memory. With Southgate still there, it's hanging around like a bad smell. No matter, he'll probably be gone by the weekend. Derby have got over a poor display at Cardiff and shown some resilience in returning from Leicester goalless. The Asian Handicap is offering us our money back if they lose by one, and with Julio Arca suspended for this game, that's a steal.
Betting Advice: 5pts Derby +0.75 to win at Evens (2.0 at Bet365)
Fixture: QPR 4-1 Reading
Venue: Loftus Road (QPR home)
Kick-off: 8pm BST
Verdict: Now that the money has gone from the Premier League parachute payments, Reading look like a side ready to return to their more rightful place as a League One/Championship outfit. They were put in their place against WBA and only have two wins on the road keeping them out of the relegation places. QPR, meanwhile, have one of the most irresistible attacking forces in the Championship with a front five that can tear any defence in this league apart. They finally looked like they clicked on Saturday in a 4-0 win against Preston on Saturday and, with Ben Watson returning from suspension, can add steel to style. Simple home win.
Betting Advice: 4pts QPR to win at 19/20 (1.95 at William Hill)
