Championship
Fixture: Plymouth 1-1 Ipswich
Venue: Home Park (Plymouth home)
Kick-off: 3pm BST
Verdict: First up, I have to say that this weekend looks an incredible difficult week for tipping in the English leagues. Ipswich are having a tough old time, but they continue to move closer to getting back to where they should be (about mid-table, I'd say, certainly not the play-offs as predicted by most pre-season). If they are going to win this season, the first might well come away from home where the pressure is slightly less. Here they play a Plymouth side that are particularly generous at home, losing four out of six. By the end of the day, these two could be swapping places.
Betting Advice: 2pts Ipswich to win at 19/10 (2.9 at totesport)
Fixture: Derby 2-4 QPR
Venue: Pride Park (Derby home)
Kick-off: 5.30pm BST
Verdict: In honour of their former ground and, not footbet believes, because their owners are now American, Derby fans will be able to hit baseball balls in batting cages and buy all sorts of American sports paraphernalia before Saturday's game. That won't bother QPR who arrive at the former Baseball Ground with a stunning record recently. Derby continue to struggle, although one of the best attendances in the league has boosted their home form. However, one gets the feeling at the moment that as long as QPR keep 11 players on the park (they were down to nine when they were last defeated, at Swansea) they'll win. And they proved in a 4-1 win at Reading on Tuesday night, that they probably don't really need all 11.
Betting Advice: 2pts QPR to win at 7/4 (2.75 at Betfred)

League One
Fixture: Norwich 1-0 Swindon
Venue: Carrow Road (Norwich home)
Kick-off: 3pm BST
Verdict: Football is all about patterns, and the pattern at the moment is that Norwich are in great nick, should have won at Leeds and will benefit from the experience of losing to a late, late goal. Swindon, on the other hand, have won just once in the last seven, and would perhaps be happy to come away with a point after a poor defeat at home to Hartlepool last time. It's the wrong attitude to have at Carrow Road this season.
Betting Advice: 5pts Norwich to win at 8/11 (1.73 generally)
League Two
Fixture: Chesterfield 5-2 Burton
Venue: Carrow Road (Norwich home)
Kick-off: 3pm BST
Verdict: Paul Peschisolido's Burton are riding high in League Two but they will come unstuck here. A 2-0 win at home to Barnet last week might look reasonably impressive, but that form is flawed as Barnet slide rapidly down the table. Meanwhile, Chesterfield were unlucky to lose to an odd penalty and a disallowed goal last week at Hereford who themselves are in form. The bookies are being incredibly generous based on league position, which when we get down here is typical.
Betting Advice: 3pts Chesterfield to win at Evens (2.0 generally)
