Championship
Swansea City 1-0 Peterborough United
KO: 3pm (GMT)
Venue: Liberty Stadium
Verdict: League position dictates prices so hugely at this stage of the season and, to be honest with you, the bookies are rarely wide of the mark - certainly at this level.
So, we view the Championship fixtures this weekend and find that we are really scratching around for value.
And that's fine because, while sticking money on the win might be out of the question, there is value to be had on the 'other' bets.
Because Swansea are such hot favourites, their outright price dictates the price of lots of special bets, too, and we look at the 2.5 goals market and see a possibility. Swansea are not prolific scorers - they have gone about their business well in this league, but they do not put their chances away.
Yes, they are fourth, but they have scored a paltry 14 goals out of 16 games at home - and without a rock solid defence they would be in the bottom three.
Peterborough will defend reslolutely, and look to nick one - so a war of attrition will ensue. Like most games at Swansea this season.
Advice: 3pts less than 2.5 goals at 5/6 (1.83 at Victor Chandler)
League One
Huddersfield 2-2 Leeds
KO: 12.30pm (GMT)
Venue: Galpharm Stadium
Verdict: Believe it or not, this game is the game of the day across ALL English division, including the Premier League.
Leeds have been struggling for form, but got a win in midweek, which will bolster them. But to have to travel to promotion rivals Huddersfield - who have a wealth of attacking options at their fingertips, is a tough call.
Huddersfield have lost just once in their last 13 games - and that was to leaders Norwich in a game in which they had a nightmare - and they have won three on the bounce away from home.
At the beginning of the season I said Norwich and Huddersfield were the two dangers to Leeds - and I stand by that more than ever. If the home side can get over their fear of the big clubs, they can bring the gap between them and Leeds down to six here. Either way, expect goals and lots of them.
Advice: 2pts Huddersfield to win at 7/4 (2.75 at Skybet); 3pts more than 2.5 goals at 10/11 (1.91 generally)
Leyton Orient 0-0 Swindon
KO: 3pm (GMT)
Venue: Brisbane Road
Verdict: Although it is always a bit of a toss up when it comes to Leyton Orient, on paper Swindon are an incredible price to take all three points here.
They are, without doubt, the form team in League One at the moment and it will take a super-charged version of the Orient side that put five past Bristol Rovers at the beginning of the month to stop them.
Advice: 2pts Swindon to win at 7/5 (2.4 at Bet365)
League Two
Burton Albion 0-1 Rotherham
KO: 3pm (GMT)
Venue: Pirelli Stadium
Verdict: Make no bones about it, there are two teams pretty much on the path to promotion while the rest fight for that third spot.
Rochdale, obviously, are running away with it but it is Rotherham who we expect to leapfrog Bournemouth once more to take the runners-up spot.
They have at least two games in hand and are playing some decent football, which holds them in good stead for a trip to Burton who are in the play-off mix only because they have had a run of games against lesser opposition. Rotherham should bring them back down to Earth with a bump.
Advice: 2pts Rotherham to win at 17/10 (2.7 at Betfred)
