Championship
Fixture: Bristol City 2-1 Middlesbrough
Venue: City Ground (City home)
Kick-off: 3pm BST
Verdict: I have been incredibly impressed with Middlesbrough this season. They appear to have found their attacking verve once more. It is difficult to estimate what effect the loss of Tuncay and Huth will have on their form, but they are in such good form I don't expect it to effect them too much. Bristol City have been less than impressive and I was not surprised to see them thoroughly dominated by Cardiff last week.
Betting Advice: 2pts Boro to win at 11/8 (2.38 at Coral)
Fixture: Scunthorpe 0-1 QPR
Venue: Glanford Park (Sheff Utd home)
Kick-off: 3pm BST
Verdict: If you were a stats man you would fall over yourself in this game. QPR manage a hefty 20 shots in and around the goal every game, which is about double the average. What they need as a striker. And they found a cracker this week in the guise of Arsenal youngster Jay Simpson who Arsene Wenger believes is the next Theo Walcott. QPR only managed to get him because Wenger wants to keep him in London - otherwise he would be playing in the Premier League. Scunthorpe, meanwhile, have the lowest chance ratio and actually concede half of the times that their goal is threatened, which is an exceptional concern this early in the season. It pretty much indicates that they are out of their league.
Betting Advice: 3pts QPR to win at 7/4 (2.75 generally)
Fixture: Newcastle 1-0 Leicester
Venue: St James Park (Newcastle home)
Kick-off: 7.45pm BST (Monday)
Verdict: I have mentioned before that Leicester will struggle for goals a bit this season in their current set-up and their average of one goal a game so far confirms this. Newcastle, meanwhile, are having little problems in front of goal and seem to have settled reasonably well. Next week, though, with the transfer window closing, could be a real tough one for them.
Betting Advice: 3pts Newcastle to win at 11/13 (1.85 generally)
League One
Fixture: Huddersfield 2-1 Yeovil
Venue: Galpharm Stadium (Huddersfield home)
Kick-off: 12pm BST
Verdict: Its not usually in my remit to back at low prices, but Huddersfield are such a good proposition at the moment, they have to be in every portfolio. This week my tips for the League One title take on Yeovil who are atrocious on their travels and are unlikely to be any better thanks to a very long round trip from the Westcountry and a 12pm kick-off. Get on.
Betting Advice: 7pts Huddersfield to win at 8/13 (1.62 at Coral and Skybet)
League Two
Fixture: Darlington 1-1 Cheltenham
Venue: Northern Echo Arena (Darlington home)
Kick-off: 3pm BST
Verdict: Its tough in Darlington at the moment, with huge financial problems and a season that has started rooted to the bottom of the table. However, they are not as far away from grabbing their first points as it would appear. Defensively they look solid enough conceding just one a game so far this season. Meanwhile, the bookies are taking in the nine goals that Cheltenham shared at home to Bradford last week in their over 2.5 goal market. They shouldn't that was a one-off, Cheltenham were at home, Bradford are very leaky, and Cheltenham boss Martin Allen will have drilled them to keep a clean sheet here.
Betting Advice: 5pts less than 2.5 goals at 4/5 (1.8 at Paddy Power and Skybet)
