Spanish La Liga
Again no bets this weekend
Italian Serie A
Fixture: Livorno 0-0 AC Milan
Venue: Stadio Armando Picchi
Kick-off: 6pm BST (Saturday)
Verdict: If AC Milan had not been stuffed so heavily on the opening day of the season (albeit by a very good side in Inter) they would be 1.5 to beat a newly promoted Livorno side that are going to struggle all season. Granted AC have not overly impressed, but anyone can have a bad day at Inter and a win against Siena previously makes me feel that was a one-off.
Will want to eradicate its memory straight away.
Betting Advice: 2pts AC Milan to win at 11/13 (1.85 at expekt.com)
French Ligue 1
Fixture: Le Mans 1-2 Marseille
Venue: Stade Omnisports Leon Bollee (Le Mans home)
Kick-off: 6pm (Saturday)
Verdict: Marseille have been in negative equity so far this season, but that is not for lack of decent form, just through lack of goals. They have scored just four goals in four games. That might be about to change as £15m striker Lucio perpares to take centre stage after being out with a collarbone since signing for the title favourites. He should get some game time against a Le Mans side who have started well at home with a draw against Lyon and the defeat of Nancy.
Betting Advice: 2pts Marseille to win at Evens (2.0 generally)
Fixture: Montpellier 1-0 Lens
Venue: Stade de la Mosson (Lyon home)
Kick-off: 8pm (Saturday)
Verdict: Promoted Montpellier have been the surprise team so far this season, but they may come crashing down to Earth when they play a more familiar side at the Stade de la Mosson. Coach Rene Girard is right to tell his players to fear relegation, despite Montpellier climbing to fourth in the table. They play Lens here, who beat them at home last season on their way to being champions. They will not be surprised by the newcomers and could take the points again.
Betting Advice: 1pt Lens to win at 13/5 (3.6 at Skybet)
German Bundesliga
Fixture: Borussia Dortmund 1-5 Bayern Munich
Venue: Signal Iduna Park (Dortmund home)
Kick-off: 2.30pm (Saturday)
Verdict: It is another unpredictable week in the exciting world of German football. Mainz have opportunities against struggling Hertha Berlin. Freiburg should beat Frankfurt perhaps, and Hoffenheim and Bremen are shoo-ins. But none appeal more than Bayern who were back to form in dramatic style last weekend. They have all there players back from the international break intact and take on a Dortmund side that haven't beaten Bayern in five encounters.
Betting Advice: 2pts Bayern to win at 10/11 (1.91 generally)
