Verdict: All the focus prior to this game has been on Marseille's continued hopes for the title, but that negates Monaco's own chances. People are forgetting that Monaco are level on points with Marseille and are one of the form teams, winning five of their last eight. Both teams will be eyeing Europe and beyond, which could make this one of the more entertaining games of the weekend. For entertaining, read goals.

Verdict: Stuttgart's excellent run of late continued last week, and we were very grateful to benefit from it. But Hamburg are a stiff opposition, and Stuttgart manager Christian Gross is probably correct in stating that his side are overwhelming outsiders for this game. However, Hamburg have been a bit hit and miss, but the return of Ruud van Nistelrooy will be a fillip.
