French Ligue 1
Fixture: Marseille P-P PSG
Venue: Stade Velodrome (Marseille home)
Kick-off: 8pm BST (Sun)
Verdict: The big game on Sunday should go to Marseille, who are back on form. PSG started off the season like a rocket but their pensiveness in defence has found them out in the last few weeks. There are rumours that the Paris outfit's coach Antoine Kombouare was under pressure, which never helps.
Betting Advice: 4pts Marseille win at 6/5 (2.2 generally)
Fixture: Boulogne 1-3 Monaco
venue: Stade de la Liberation (Boulougne home)
Kikc-off: 7pm (Saturday)
Verdict: Boulogne may have started their career in the top flight in France with a rush and a swagger, but it has all gone to form since those heady days of summer and it's looking like it's going to be a grim winter in the north by La Manche. This Monaco side are a frustration. They excite us with well thought-out wins against Toulose and Paris Saint-Germain - bringing dreams of Europe so early in the season - but then they drunkenly lurch from these wins to losses against the lessers - Sochaux, Nice, St Etienne.
And the they go and take Marseille apart in Le Velodrome piece by glorious piece, to bring us back to Europe again.
Last week's victory at home to Lens had us thinking of Europe again, and with their Brazilian striker Nene on fire, struggling Boulogne could find themselves deeper in the mire.
Advice: 2pts Monaco to win at 6/5 (2.2 at Stan James, William Hill, Interwetten)
German Bundesliga
Fixture: Hannover 1-0 Stuttgart
Venue: AWD Arena (Frankfurt home)
Kick-off: 2.30pm BST (Sat)
Verdict: In the land of the high-scoring encounter more goals in germany than anywhere else, don't you know it is rare we find any value, or any winners in the 2.5 goals market. However, there is a small glimpse of light in this tie as one team struggles for form in front of goal and the other struggles with injuries in front of midfield. Jiri Stajner will join Jan Schlaudraff, Mike Hanke and Mikael Forssell in the treatment room at Hannover, which leaves them bereft of replacements up front. Stuttgart are playing well, but not winning.
Also, stats wise, Hannover have been involved in games with less than 2.5 goals six out of eight times this season, while for Stuttgart it's 5 out of 9.
Betting Advice: 1pt less than 2.5 goals at 5/4 (2.25 at Coral)

Spanish La Liga
Fixture: Atletico Madrid 1-1 Mallorca
Venue: Vicente Calderon (Madrid home)
Kick-off: 5pm BST (Sat)
Verdict: The general consensus in the press at Stamford Bridge among the Spanish contingent was pretty unanimous. The reason why Atletico were struggling this season was because they had a leaky back four … oh, and the rest of the team was lazy. A new coach was an inevitability, but they have plumped for mediocrity with Quique Sanchez Flores, who made a mess of what is now a beautiful Benfica side. Meanwhile, Real Mallorca continue in the top half of the table thanks to an impressive home record. They will be a little concerned with their away form, which has seen them lose twice on the trot on the road, but Atletico could be ripe for the picking.
Betting Advice: 3pts Mallorca to win +0.5 on asian handicap at 21/20 (2.05 at Bet365)
