German Bundesliga
Fixture: Stuttgart 0-0 Bayern Munich
Venue: Mercedes-Benz Arena (Stuttgart home)
Kick-off: 2.30pm GMT (Sat)
Verdict: It is do or die for Stuttgart coach Markus Babbel and you can't see it being anything other than "die". His side are in turmoil and now face a Bayern Munich side that seems to have found its mojo after demolishing Frankfurt 4-0 in midweek in a performance their coach described as how he envisaged this side playing.
Betting Advice: 3pts Munich to win at 11/13 (1.85 at expekt.com)
French Ligue 1
Fixture: Grenoble 0-2 Lille
Venue: Stade des Alpes (Grenoble home)
Kick-off: 6pm GMT (Saturday)
Verdict: This is a gift of a price on Lille who were shocked away from home last weekend, but are in good form and should be higher up the table. They face a Grenoble side yet to get a point, and looking very unlikely to get any any time soon.
Betting Advice: 4pts Lille to win at 5/6 (1.83 at BlueSq and 888sport)
Spanish La Liga
Fixture: Villareal 5-0 Tenerife
Venue: Estadio El Madrigal (Villareal home)
Kick-off: 4pm GMT (Sun)
Verdict: I am yet to find any value in the Spanish league, which has been dominated this season by the three top teams. The rest have been somewhat hit and miss, but Tenerife don't look like they have a cat in hell's chance away from home at Villareal, whose price is just about palatable.
Betting Advice: 2pts Villareal to win at 5/6 (1.83 at Paddy Power)
Italian Serie A
Fixture: Roma 2-1 Bologna
Venue: Stadio Olimpico (Roma home)
Kick-off: 2pm GMT (Sunday)
Verdict: Roma come into this game with a whole host of problems and absenteeism. They've lost their last three matches and key personnel are absent through injury and suspension against a Bologna side that shocked Siena last weekend.
Certainly worthy of a bet on the handicap as the bookies go so heavily on Roma.
Betting Advice: 2pts Bologna (+0.5) at 29/25 (2.16 at Bet365)
