Saturday
Fixture: Arsenal 3-1 Birmingham
Venue: Emirates Stadium (Arsenal home)
Kick-off: 3pm BST
Verdict:
Our staple statistical bet for the season is available at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
Betting Advice: 1pt each of the following: Arsenal to win 1-0 at 9/1 (10.0 at Betfair); 2-0 at 11/2 (6.5 generally); 2-1 at 10/1 (11.0 at extrabet); and 3-1 at 12/1 (13.0 at extrabet)

Fixture: Manchester United 2-1 Bolton
Venue: Old Trafford (Man Utd home)
Kick-off: 3pm BST
Verdict:
Here's the second of our statistical bets this weekend and, I have to say, I really like the look of this one.
Betting Advice: 1pt each of the following: Man Utd to win 1-0 at 7/1 (8.0 at Sportingbet); 2-0 at 11/2 (6.5 generally); 2-1 at 17/2 (9.5 at Sportingbet, extrabet); and 3-1 at 10/1 (11.0 generally)

Double: above two fixtures
Verdict:
With fatigue and injury after almost two weeks of international fixtures, the top teams may struggle this week, making this an obvious long odds correct score double opportunity.
Betting Advice: 0.5pts correct score both Man Utd and Arsenal to win 1-0 at 79/1 (80.0 generally)

Fixture: Stoke 2-1 West Ham
Venue: Britannia Stadium (Stoke home)
Kick-off: 3pm BST
Verdict:
This looks a tough and ultimately fruitless trip for a West Ham squad that looks thin on the ground and struggling for goals. Without Carlton Cole (and I can't believe I am going to say this) West Ham will be further into the relegation mire than they are now.
Betting Advice: 2pts Stoke to win at 23/20 (2.15 at William Hill)

Fixture: Sunderland 1-0 Liverpool
Venue: Stadium of Light (Sunderland home)
Kick-off: 3pm BST
Verdict:
Sunderland's record this season at home speaks for itself, and they are ninth in the league just two points behind Liverpool with a similar record at home. The arrival of Boudewijn Zenden at Sunderland will be a boosting factor particularly as he faces his old team first time up. He won't need time to gel either he's been training at Sunderland for a few weeks now since being released by Marseille. Liverpool are desperately short of first-choice players after the international break: Sotiris Kyrgiakos is out for a while, while Steve Gerrard, Dirk Kuyt, Fernando Torres and Andriy Voronin are also doubtful. Late returning South American players like Javier Mascherano and Lucas may make this a week to forget for Liverpool.
Betting Advice: 2pts Sunderland to win at 18/5 (4.6 at William Hill); 3pts Sunderland +0.5 on Asian Handicap at Evens (2.0 at SBOBet)

*****PRICE ALERT PRICE DROPPING RAPIDLY*********

Sunday
Fixture: Blackburn 3-2 Burnley
Venue: Ewood Park (Blackburn home)
Kick-off: 1pm BST
Verdict:
Bizzarely, this Lancashire derby though uninteresting-looking on paper has a history of being a firecracker. The bookies have entirely discounted history in pricing the +2.5 goals market up.
Betting Advice: 2pts more than 2.5 goals at Evens (2.0 at Betfair)

NO BETS
Saturday
Aston Villa
take on Chelsea which will definitely be a fascinating game though no prizes for trying to predict the winner
Res: 2-1
Everton
should have the beating of Wolves but there is no value in the price the bookies are offering
Res: 1-1
There has been a lot of talk about Tottenham and Harry Redknapp's return to Portsmouth but I don't think it is the clear-cut Spurs win everyone thinks it is
Res: 1-2

Sunday
Wigan
are unfair underdogs in this closely contested Lancashire derby with Manchester City
Res: 1-1

Monday

A Fulham win is on the cards, but it is three days before the game and already the bet against Hull has been priced out
Res: 2-0
