Football fans - and, in particular, football fans who like a bet - have pretty much had enough of this ridiculously long and destructive winter. The football in February was once again a slave to the elements which I have said a thousands times, makes life very difficult for the punter. All that said, barring a disastrous midweek in the middle of the month, we have managed to maintain our profitable run of months, with a £622 profit to a £100 stake in February. The highlight was perhaps our picking Everton to beat Manchester United in the Premier League. But we also had some success in Europe with a French double at the end of the month, that pared our losses on the first night of Uefa Champions League action. Onwards and upwards as spring threatens to, er, spring us back into action.
