June 17 match betting

Argentina 4-1 South Korea (12.30pm BST)

The two first-game winners of Group B face each other in Johannesburg, and Argentina are strongly fancied to beat the South Koreans and progress to the second stage.
However, they will do it with the influential Juan Sebastian Veron, who pulled the strings for Maradona's side in 4-3-3 formation.
This South Korea side will pose a far bigger problem that a rather cluggish Nigeria in the first game, but I wonder whether they will run out of puff as the switch from sea level to altitude takes its toll on them.
Tip: 1pt HT/FT bet: Draw/Argentina at 10/3 (4.33 generally)

Greece 2-1 Nigeria (3pm BST)

Greece looked woeful in the first game against South Korea and are likely to be all but dumped out of the competition against Nigeria.
Similar to South Korea, Greece must play at altitude for the first time, which has proved troublesome in the afternoon against a Nigeria side that are already acquainted with the clouds.
It is unlikely to be a terrific affair, but Nigeria should have the wherewithal to grab a narrow win to keep their tournament hopes alive.
Tip: 2pts Nigeria to win at Evens (2.0 generally)

France 0-2 Mexico (7.30 BST)

Is this the end of the road for France, who failed to make any noticeable impression on Uruguay in their first game.
It will be interesting to see how they fare against the attacking Mexicans, who desperately need the win as well after an opening day draw.
I think the Mexicans will shine, and consign an old, tired regime to history.
Tip: 2pts Mexico to win (draw no bet) at 7/5 (2.4 at bwin, bodog)
